Fanuc Controls With FOCAS Support

Overview

Many Fanuc controls offer the ability to communicate over standard Ethernet using FOCAS1 or FOCAS2 drivers. (FANUC Open CNC API Specification version 1 or 2)

Utilizing the FOCAS capabilities information such as equipment status, part counts, overrides, and alarm information can be obtained without adding any hardware or software to the control.

In order for DataXchange to communicate with a Fanuc control, the control must be correctly configured.
