Equipment View (Web)
Overview
The Equipment View is a browser based set of equipment cards containing charts and equipment information updated in real time. All information displayed here is configurable and there are many options to enable or disable as desired. The equipment cards group together multiple types of data by equipment. Required and Optional Information
Since these charts are updated in real time no date range is needed to load the page, only the desired equipment. Once this is selected, click the Chart button to view the page. Further options include:
- Title and Border
- Color: The background color of the heading for every equipment section.
Note: The following sections can be enabled, disabled, or rearranged as desired.
- Equipment Status
- Reset Interval: The period of time for which equipment status is summarized in the mini-charts.
- General Equipment Status: The chart type used to display general equipment status.
- Cells: Shows 4 values in a row, representing percentage of Cycle Time, Planned Downtime, Unplanned Downtime, and Unknown Downtime.
- Pie or Donut: Displays percentage of time spent in each status as a part of a whole.
- Hidden: No chart is displayed.
- Specific Equipment Status: The chart type used to display specific equipment status. Available options are Pie chart, Donut chart, or Hidden.
- Current Status: Whether the current status is displayed as specific, general, or is hidden.
- Current Values
- Color: The color of the background for the current equipment information.
- Reset Interval: The period of time for which timeframe dependent data is shown for. This includes items such as part counts and utilization information.
- Full Screen: The equipment cards will be resized vertically to fit the entire screen. This setting is only available when the Equipment Status and Target Utilization are disabled.
- Minimize Header: Enabling this setting will make the top header bar invisible on the Equipment View. To access the header bar, move your mouse or tap where the header bar normally would be. Clicking on an equipment card will make it invisible again. This setting is only available when the Equipment Status and Target Utilization are disabled.
- Columns: The number of columns displayed on each individual equipment card.
- Labels: Determines whether labels for each data item will be shown. Can be set to Show or Hide.
- Data: The current equipment information available to be shown and the order in which it is displayed. Each option can be enabled or disabled individually.
- General Equipment Status: The description of the General Status.
- Specific Equipment Status: The description of the Specific Status.
- General Duration: The amount of time the equipment has been in the General Status.
- Specific Duration: The amount of time the equipment has been in the Specific Status.
- Start Date Time: The starting date and time of the current Specific Status.
- Program Number: The current active program number reported by the equipment.
- Work Order Number: The current active work order number on the equipment.
- Part Number: The current active part number on the equipment.
- PPH: Calculates the parts that should be made each hour based on ideal times.
- PPH Plan: The amount of parts that should have been made based on the ideal time, the current time, and the Reset Interval.
- PPH %: The percentage of Parts Per Hour Actual to Parts Per Hour Plan since the Reset Interval.
- PPH Actual: The current parts made since the Reset Interval.
- Utilization %: Percentage of time the equipment has been in use since the Reset Interval.
- Good Parts: The number of good parts recorded since the Reset Interval.
- Scrap Parts: The number of scrap parts recorded since the Reset Interval.
- Scrap Notes: Notes entered from the ODI when the most recent scrap part count was submitted.
- User Name: User name of the logged in operator.
- Connectivity: The current communication health of the Machine, DataXchange Service, and Commands.
- Notes: Notes added from the ODI for the most recent Equipment Status.

- Target Utilization
- Initial Display: The type of utilization chart shown by default.
- Current Shift: Displays utilization for the current shift in the preferred chart type (see Chart Type below).
- Per Hour: Displays utilization chart per hour in a bar chart.
- Targets: Whether to show or hide utilization targets. Targets display as an arrow on the Current Shift chart, and as dots on the Per Hour chart.
- Last # Of Hours: Period of time for which utilization information is shown on the Per Hour chart.
- Chart Type: Determines the type of chart shown for Current Shift utilization. Select from a Gauge or a Bar chart.
- Average: Show or hide average utilization on the Per Hour chart.
- Background Color: Option to Show Actual Utilization vs Target as the background color at the top of the Per Hour chart. If set to Hide the background is white.
- Initial Display: The type of utilization chart shown by default.
- Shift History
- Shift Group: The shift group for which shift history will be displayed.
- Shift: The specific shifts for which shift history will be displayed.
- Data Items: Choose the data to display for shift history.
- Good Parts: The number of good parts recorded during the shift.
- Scrap Parts: The number of scrap parts recorded during the shift.
- Shift Count: The number of historical shifts to be shown, including the current shift.
- Show Dates: Select whether to show or hide the dates on which each shift began.
- Color: The color of the background for the shift history.
- Font Size: The size of text in the shift history. Set it to Default to match the Font Size set in Options.
- Options
- Cards Per Row: The number of equipment shown per row. If set to Auto, the cards will display the maximum number of cards while still being readable.
- Font Size: The size of the text on the equipment cards. The default size is 14.
- Margin: The amount of white space shown between each equipment.
The Copy URL button will generate a URL to view or share the Equipment View for the currently logged in user. This URL can be used in a web browser on Desktop or Mobile to view the RTV screen within Data Display. No user login is required.
Note: If changes are made on the filter page, they will need to be saved by viewing the Equipment View for the changes to be reflected in the Equipment View linked by the URL.
Once the chart is loaded, the following settings can be changed per equipment card. Click the card and a gear icon will appear. Click the gear to view the following options:

- Current Shift Utilization: Displays utilization for the current shift in the format selected above under Chart Type.
