Ensure the following conditions are met before starting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Current version of DataXchange<\/li><li>Permission to add a user within DataXchange<\/li><li>Permission to add shortcut to startup folder within Windows<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log into DataXchange<\/li><li>Navigate to <strong>Manage \u2192 User Groups<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dx1.scytec.com\/help\/Images\/image1155071079.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li>Add a new group for the RTV login. In order to have DataXchange start when you boot up the PC,&nbsp;add the DataXchange shortcut into the windows startup folder.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The startup folder is typically located at: C:\\Users\\**USER NAME**\\AppData\\Roaming\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Startup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To access this folder quickly, press Windows Key + R to open the Run box. In the Run box type &#8220;Shell:Startup&#8221; (without quotes) and press enter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to have this automatically start for all users of the PC, enter &#8220;Shell:Common Startup&#8221; in to the run box instead, or navigate to &#8220;C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs\\Startup&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview Follow the steps below to setup and configure DataXchange so it will auto start and load right into the Real Time Viewer.
