{"id":403,"date":"2020-05-03T18:30:24","date_gmt":"2020-05-03T18:30:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dxhelpdev.wpengine.com\/?post_type=epkb_post_type_1&#038;p=403"},"modified":"2024-01-15T18:12:01","modified_gmt":"2024-01-15T18:12:01","slug":"exporting-data","status":"publish","type":"epkb_post_type_1","link":"https:\/\/dxhelp.scytec.com\/?epkb_post_type_1=exporting-data","title":{"rendered":"Exporting Data"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raw data can be exported to Excel or Comma Separated Value (CSV) formats from within the&nbsp;<strong>Report<\/strong>&nbsp;tab.&nbsp;The first page of the data filter allows the equipment and time frame to be selected.&nbsp;The second page is used to specify the location for the exported file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When exporting data, the default location is set to the users desktop and will save all exported data to a folder named Scytec DataXchange Exports. This location can be modified by selecting <strong>Change the default location for this export<\/strong> and clicking the <strong>Browse<\/strong> button. To reset back to the default location at anytime, click the <strong>Reset<\/strong> button. Sometimes part numbers are required instead of equipment. Press the <strong>Finish<\/strong> button to run the export.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Next<\/strong> screen displays additional options including where to place the exported data. Sometimes additional data on this screen must be selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"equipmentstatus\">Equipment Status<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Equipment Status Report<\/strong> displays detailed status information about what occurred during the selected time duration. The report displays the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Equipment Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Stamp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This report is used to verify start and stop times of a part during a part run for a machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Part Counts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following columns are exported when using the Part Counts export.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Equipment Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Stamp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part Count Type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Description<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quantity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"customvariable\">Custom Variable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Custom Variables<\/strong> export&nbsp;displays data saved by custom variables when using the gold based custom variable expression. The following columns are exported when using the Custom Variable export:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Equipment Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Custom Variable Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Stamp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shift Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Value of the variable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"user\">User<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>User<\/strong> export can be found in the toolbar under Excel Reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This report displays when a specific user became active or inactive on a machine&nbsp;during a specified date range. The report displays the&nbsp;following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Equipment Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Stamp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This report is used to verify start and stop times of a user while logged onto a machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"alarmstatus\">Alarm Status<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>Alarm Status&nbsp;<\/strong>export can be found in the toolbar under Excel Reports. This report displays when a specific Alarm became active or inactive on a machine&nbsp;during a specified date range. The report displays the&nbsp;following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Equipment Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Stamp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alarm Code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alarm Description<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alarm Type<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This report is used to verify start and stop times of an alarm during a part run for a machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"workorderoperation\">Work Order Operation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Work Order Operation<\/strong> export can be found in the toolbar under Excel Reports. This report displays operational events that took place for a work order&nbsp;during a specified date range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work Order Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipment Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>User<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time Stamp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good Parts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scrap Parts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Status (Closed, Confirmed, Inactive, Active)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"connectivity\">Connectivity Health<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Connectivity Health<\/strong> export can be found in the toolbar under Excel Reports. This report&nbsp;displays Equipment, DX Service, and Command connection data from a specified date range. The report details when the machine, service, or command connectivity were started or stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This report is used to verify that all data collected within a certain timeframe was gathered when the machine had a valid connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More information about connectivity can be found&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/dxhelp.scytec.com\/?epkb_post_type_1=connectivity-monitoring-and-the-rtv\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"esdetail\">Equipment Status Detail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Equipment Status Detail export lists how many hours each machine was in each status in a table format. A machine is listed on each row with each column displaying the amount of time spent in a given general or specific status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Note: The following exports are only available in Data Display, available at [Your DataXchange Server]\/datadisplay.<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/dxhelp.scytec.com\/?epkb_post_type_1=browser-data-display-application\">More Information<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"efficiency\">Efficiency To Date<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Efficiency to Date export displays parts per hour information while factoring in the amount of time machines actually spent in cycle. Each machine is listed on a separate tab in the exported Excel file. Each row indicates the date for which data is shown. The columns in this export include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hours: The number of scheduled Shift Hours for the day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PPH Plan: Parts Per Hour multiplied by Shift Hours for the day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Part Count: Either Good Parts or Good + Scrap parts depending on the filter selection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cycle Hours: Number of hours spent in cycle for a given day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Efficiency: The percentage of actual parts made vs PPH Plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report is divided into two sections, Daily and To-Date.
