The Machine Number is generally the serial number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dornier machines connect back to the DataXchange service and these connections must be allowed through the firewall on the DataXchange server as well as through any firewalls between the machine and the DataXchange server. Dornier connects on TCP ports 12200 and 12201.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To connect DataXchange to a Dornier loom, go to the <strong>DataXchange<\/strong> tab. Click on the desired equipment and click <strong>Communication<\/strong>. Click <strong>Add<\/strong>, then choose <strong>Dornier<\/strong> in the list of Sources. Enter the IP Address of the machine as the <strong>Host<\/strong> and the serial number as the <strong>Machine Number<\/strong>. Click <strong>Enter<\/strong> when done.
