Overview

The roles section groups information based on the needs of various potential users of DataXchange depending on their job within the company. These articles will generally be links to other existing articles in the User Manual.

Articles listed under the IT role are selected based on relevance to IT personnel. This will include discussions of network communication with DataXchange, initial setup of new devices, software installation, and how to set up the DataXchange service on a new or different machine.

Other aspects of the IT role related to DataXchange are SMTP setup, API configuration, and other situations where DataXchange must talk to external systems that are not necessarily the equipment DataXchange collects information from.
