Overview

The Manage Metrics application section allows you to fine tune the calculations within DataXchange. Use the features listed below to further customize DataXchange to meet your needs. These adjustable metrics affect different areas of the product. They are broken down into multiple categories. Below are links as well as brief descriptions of each.

  • Equipment Defaults: Use this to manage Default Ideal Times for Equipment Setup. You can find more information here.
  • Part Defaults: This is to manage Default Ideal Values for Parts. You can find more information here.
  • Ideal Times: This is where you update and modify Ideal Times for Setup Time as well as Cycle Time by part-equipment combination. More information can be found here.
  • Metric Definitions: Manage Metric Definitions allows you to further customize utilization within DataXchange. More information can be found here.
  • Metric Targets: When Managing Metric Targets, you can customize what an acceptable Utilization time is as well as other values affecting OEE. More information can be found here.
  • Data Import: When Managing Part Numbers, Ideal Times, and Work Orders you can import this information directly into the system using a downloadable excel template. More information can be found here.
