Data Display RTV Viewer (Web)

Overview

The Data Display application can view RTV screens created within the DataXchange Windows Application. The same list of RTV screens available to the user in the Windows Application will appear in Data Display in the RTV section. Click any icon to view the screen. Note the screens can only be viewed in a browser or app and can only be modified in the Windows Application.

RTV Ribbon Bar

When viewing an RTV screen in Data Display, the bar at the top will display additional icons. The Display button when clicked or tapped will show a list of every RTV screen available to the user, from there a new screen can be selected quickly. The same shortcut icons shown on the RTV tab in the Windows Application will also be available. Finally, the Play and Stop buttons will be shown, allowing screen rotation. The screen rotation will follow the rotation configuration from the Windows Application.

NOTE: Currently the saved chart RTV view is not available in Data Display. The Web Browser view is available, but limited in what it can display. In order to display a web page within the Data Display RTV, the server hosting the page must allow other domains to display its content. This is done via the “Access-Control-Allow-Origin” header on the web server for the page you want to view in the RTV.
