Backfill Downtime Status

Overview

Using the collection rules (expressions), you can backfill a downtime. This feature allows you to select a downtime status if your machine has been in unknown downtime, and automatically backfill it with the selected status from the start time of that unknown downtime.

By default, the expressions needed to do this are already in your account and do not need to be created by you.

Steps

Add the correct expressions to the machines and if using them remove the standard start expressions for the ODI screen.
Manage → Assign expressions → Backfill expressions.

By Default the expressions are called:

ODI – Planned Downtime with Unknown Downtime Backfill – Start

ODI – Unplanned Downtime with Unknown Downtime Backfill – Start

If applicable, unassign the expressions called:

ODI – Planned Downtime Start

ODI – Unplanned Downtime Start
